The first thing that any tourist should do is to travel in a tram and experience the Melbourne W-class tram which is excellent piece of engineering. Trams are efficient and economical for the local people and also a big attraction among tourists in Melbourne. The free City Circle tram ride is highly recommended for tourists. Many other tram rides like the one from Colin Street in the no. 10 tram, Swanston street no. 15 tram and the suburban route trams are also recommended for an enjoyable and exciting tram ride in Melbourne.
A visit to the wine country in Yarra Valley is also an option. The region not only provides with the best of wines but also picturesque mountain villages that will let you relax your senses.
The Colonial TramCar Restaurant is 1927 tram converted into a restaurant. it rides through the beautiful streets of Melbourne but at the same time offers fine cuisine and the best of wines. The atmosphere welcoming and the service is at its best.
Melbourne's fashion triangle is the place to be for shopping. There are over 500 stores in the area and forms a triangle which is why it is called the Fashion Triangle.
